Latest job vacancies for fresh graduates
Last checked: 4 November 2026 | Nigeria
You open a job advert, scroll to the requirements and find the familiar problem: the employer wants experience you have not had the chance to gain. Another vacancy looks promising, but the deadline has passed. After a few rounds of this, even knowing where to apply can feel exhausting.
To make the search more manageable, this shortlist brings together eight advertised graduate recruitment options across four employers: EY, Julius Berger, SLB and SV-NED, with qualification checks, locations, application routes and suggestions for presenting relevant experience.
Five options are departments within the same SV-NED graduate programme. They are not five separate employers, and applicants are instructed to choose one department. The other options are EY’s graduate trainee vacancy, Julius Berger’s engineering trainee role and SLB’s logistics internship. Compare the routes, then apply where you genuinely fit.
Start with the table to see which options are worth a closer look. You can then read the relevant section and go straight to the employer’s page.

What “checked” means here: These opportunities were located through employer recruitment pages. EY’s application link reached an account-creation page. SV-NED’s corporate website links to its programme and department application pages, although the final submission workflow was not tested. An accessible advert does not guarantee that applications will remain open whenever you read this article.
No numerical salary is confirmed in this shortlist. Missing information is identified below rather than replaced with an estimate.
Each opportunity below includes a clickable employer vacancy or department link. Open the relevant page, review the requirements and follow its application instructions. The shortlist includes trainee programmes and an internship, rather than only permanent jobs.
Job vacancies at EY: FY27 Graduate Trainee
EY’s Lagos vacancy is requisition 1690684, under Assurance. It requires a minimum Second Class Upper degree and completed NYSC. Named disciplines include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Sciences and Mathematics.
The work involves client engagements across different industries. EY asks for analytical, communication, teamwork and Microsoft Office skills. Relevant professional qualifications are advantageous, rather than compulsory. A numerical salary, exact closing date and fixed start date are not displayed.

FY27 Graduate Trainee 1690684 NGA-Lagos
For this application, choose an example showing that you can work carefully with information. It might be a research project, a spreadsheet used during NYSC or an assignment where you checked calculations and corrected errors.
An economics graduate could explain how they organised survey responses and interpreted the results. An accounting graduate could describe a reconciliation exercise from an internship.
Avoid claiming “excellent analytical ability” without showing what you analysed. Explain the task, your contribution and the outcome. Do not assume that an unspecified deadline means there is no urgency, or that “FY27” by itself establishes when successful candidates will resume.
Job vacancies at Julius Berger: Electrical Engineer Trainee
For graduates who want practical engineering experience, Julius Berger lists a full-time role in its Plant and Equipment Department in Abuja. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics or Power Engineering, or a related discipline; zero to one year of experience; and an age of 26 or below.
The work includes helping plan maintenance, investigating electrical faults, assisting with testing and installations, interpreting drawings, and recording technical findings under supervision. Safety procedures and practical training are part of the assignment.
Missing details: The advert does not specify salary, degree classification or NYSC status. Its expiry indicator is relative, so an exact calendar deadline is not confirmed here. Do not interpret an omitted NYSC condition as automatic permission to apply regardless of service status.
Application route: Open the employer’s vacancy page below, confirm Electrical Engineer Trainee, Abuja, and select Apply. The vacancy identifier is 11329. An Apply button was visible; completion of the application was not tested.
Think back to your industrial attachment, laboratory work or final-year project. Choose a supervised practical example you can discuss in detail. Explain the problem, the checks you performed and what you learned. If you only observed a procedure, say that rather than claiming you carried it out independently.
You could also prepare a short explanation of a drawing you worked with and how you checked your understanding with a supervisor. Keep confidential project material out of your application. The aim is to demonstrate sound reasoning and a willingness to learn, not to imply that you are already qualified to undertake every electrical task alone.
Job vacancies at SLB: Logistics Specialist Intern
SLB’s logistics internship is based in Port Harcourt. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or a related social science; graduation within the previous two years; and completed NYSC.
You would support transport requests, track deliveries and cargo, review work orders, assist equipment dispatch planning and update import/export records. Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of Nigerian logistics processes are requested; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
Missing details: Salary or stipend, internship duration and closing date are not stated. No degree classification is specified in the inspected requirements. This is an internship, not a confirmed permanent position.
Application route: Open the SLB vacancy page below for Logistics Specialist Intern, Port Harcourt, and select Apply Now. The listing identifier is 87352. The application route leads to account authentication; the final submission process was not verified.
You may already have a useful example from coordinating deliveries during an attachment, organising event materials or studying a distribution problem. Explain how you tracked progress and handled a delay. Keep academic or voluntary work clearly labelled.
If you want to practise, put a few fictional deliveries into a tracker and explain which delays need attention. Keep it simple enough that you can talk someone through your decisions.
Before accepting an internship away from home, ask about duration, supervision, pay and working hours. Those answers help you assess whether the practical experience is financially workable and relevant to your career plans.
Job vacancies at SV-NED: shared eligibility and application link
The programme accepts a minimum 2:2 or HND Lower Credit, with NYSC completed between 2022 and 2026, or current service. Your course must match your selected department. Prepare your CV, qualification certificate and NYSC ID or certificate. A monthly allowance is advertised, but its amount is unspecified. Recruitment is described as free.
Use the employer’s programme page to select your department and follow its Apply button:
Direct department links are also included below. If a department page does not load, return through the programme page above. The employer presents a training-to-placement programme; do not interpret it as an unconditional permanent-job offer. Confirm the employment terms, allowance, exact work address and start date before accepting a placement.
The course requirements and role names below come from the employer. Unless specifically identified as an employer assessment, the project and interview examples are our suggestions for preparation. Some departments publish limited duty information, so those suggestions should not be read as promises about the daily work.
Job vacancies in software and data: SV-NED digital department
The digital department lists ERP/POS Support Analyst and Data & Reporting Analyst roles for graduates of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or Statistics. The role description covers on-site systems support and reporting: troubleshooting, checking sales and stock information, preparing dashboards and helping staff use systems.
ERP means enterprise resource planning, software used to manage business processes. POS means point of sale, the system through which sales are recorded. Strong Excel skills are requested; SQL, Power BI or a programming language is advantageous. The advertised simulation involves creating a station-sales dashboard.
A small project that works well is useful evidence here. Try organising fictional sales records, checking the totals and turning the results into a short report. Be ready to explain why you chose those calculations.
Label personal projects clearly and use fictional or public data. A recruiter should be able to tell what you built, how it works and where your experience begins and ends.
If systems support interests you more than analysis, prepare an example of troubleshooting a problem. Explain how you identified the issue, what you tried and how you checked the solution. Being able to explain technical work simply is useful evidence in its own right.

Job vacancies in finance and audit: SV-NED finance department
Accounting, Finance, Banking and Economics graduates can consider the finance department, which lists Accounts Officer Trainee and Internal Audit Assistant roles.
Accuracy is worth demonstrating in your application. Perhaps you organised receipts for a student association or checked a budget during an internship. Explain what you checked and how you handled anything that did not add up.
If your experience is mainly academic, a reconciliation exercise can still give you something concrete to discuss. Describe your method and any errors you found.
Be specific about software. If you can use spreadsheet formulas and filters, say so. If your knowledge of an accounting package comes only from classroom demonstrations, describe that level instead of claiming professional proficiency.
Ask for the full duties before accepting an offer, particularly if you are assigned to audit rather than accounts. The department title does not establish reporting lines, travel requirements, supervision or daily responsibilities.

Job vacancies in sales and marketing: SV-NED commercial department
SV-NED lists Fleet Conversion Sales Associate and Community Outreach Officer roles in this department. The named courses are Marketing, Mass Communication and Business Administration.
Have you promoted a student event, answered customer questions in a family business or volunteered on an awareness campaign? Those experiences may give you a useful starting point. Describe who you were trying to reach, what you said and how people responded.
Avoid inventing sales figures. If you publicised an event but do not know how many attendees came through your work, describe the messages you prepared and the channels you used. Honest detail is better than a percentage you cannot defend.
For interview practice, try explaining an unfamiliar service to someone who is hesitant. Listen to the concern before answering it, and avoid promising benefits you cannot substantiate.
Before accepting a commercial role, clarify whether compensation includes commission, whether there are targets and whether travel costs are reimbursed. Those terms are not confirmed in the programme summary.

Sales, Marketing & Business Development
Job vacancies in supply chain: SV-NED inventory department
The supply-chain department lists Gas Logistics Coordinator and Stores & Inventory Officer roles. It names Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management and Industrial Engineering as relevant courses.
Think about the records, quantities or schedules you have worked with. An industrial attachment, stock count or distribution project may provide a stronger example than a general claim that you are organised.
For practice, use a simple stock sheet to check opening balances, deliveries, issues and closing quantities. What would you ask if the figures did not agree?
If you have relevant experience, explain its scope carefully. “Helped count and record stock during an attachment” is credible when true. Calling yourself a supply-chain manager after briefly assisting with deliveries would misrepresent your background.
Clarify the detailed duties with the employer. A logistics title alone does not establish shift patterns, responsibility for equipment, travel requirements or whether particular safety training will be provided.
Ask about the actual reporting site before arranging accommodation. A city or state in an advert is not enough information to calculate your daily journey or decide where to live.

Job vacancies in HR and administration: SV-NED people department
HR & Training Coordinator and Admin Officer are the roles listed here, with Human Resource Management, Psychology, Sociology and Public Administration among the named courses.
Much of the evidence you need may come from ordinary responsibilities: arranging a departmental event, keeping an attendance register, scheduling volunteers or preparing meeting notes. Pick an example that shows how you helped people stay organised.
Instead of writing “handled administration,” identify what you arranged and how you tracked it. If other people were involved, distinguish your responsibility from the team’s overall work.
If scheduling is one of your strengths, explain how you handled competing requests or a last-minute change. That tells a recruiter more than simply listing “time management” among your skills.
Do not attach real personnel records or private student details as proof of administrative experience. A description of your work or an anonymised example is more appropriate for an initial application.
Before accepting an offer, ask which duties belong to the role and who supervises it. HR support, office administration and training coordination can overlap, but they are not identical. Understanding the assignment helps you assess whether it offers the experience you want to develop.

Which job vacancies match your qualifications?
It is easy to become attached to a vacancy because the employer is well known. A better starting point is the requirements. Spending twenty minutes checking your eligibility can save hours of preparing an application that cannot progress.
Read each condition and separate it into three groups: requirements you meet, requirements you do not meet and points that need clarification.
For example, if a vacancy explicitly requires a completed degree and you are still waiting to finish your final examinations, that is a substantial gap. If it says familiarity with a particular software package would be helpful, that may be a preference rather than a compulsory condition. The wording matters.
| What to check | What to compare with your situation |
|---|---|
| Qualification | Your actual degree or diploma, discipline and classification |
| Graduation timing | Whether the advert restricts applicants to particular graduating years |
| NYSC status | Completed, serving, awaiting mobilisation or formally exempted |
| Experience | Whether the employer specifies a minimum, maximum or no requirement |
| Location | Your ability to attend work or relocate if required |
| Availability | Whether you can meet a confirmed start date |
| Documents | Whether you can supply the requested evidence in the required format |
Keep your answers accurate. Do not select “completed” because you expect to finish NYSC soon, or claim a qualification you have not obtained. Where an exemption certificate applies to you but the advert only mentions completion, ask the employer whether it is acceptable instead of assuming.
A narrow shortlist is useful when each application is realistic. You do not need to apply to every vacancy you see to make progress.
How to tailor your CV for these job vacancies
Do not send an identical application to every employer. Keep your qualifications and dates consistent, but give the most relevant examples more space.
| Target route | Evidence worth highlighting |
|---|---|
| Electrical engineering | Supervised technical work, drawings, fault investigation or a practical project |
| Logistics and inventory | Delivery records, stock checks, scheduling or a distribution assignment |
| Assurance and finance | Checking figures, reconciling records or interpreting research findings |
| Digital systems | A spreadsheet, dashboard or clearly explained troubleshooting example |
| Marketing and HR | Audience communication, coordination and dependable record-keeping |
These are preparation suggestions, not additional employer requirements. Explain what you personally did and whether the experience was academic, voluntary or employment-related. Use numerical results only when you can support them.
A clear one- or two-page CV is a sensible editing target unless the employer requests another format. Include working contact details, accurate education and service information, relevant projects or experience, and skills you can demonstrate. Open the exported file before uploading it to check that nothing is missing.
How to apply for these job vacancies online
Once you have found a suitable vacancy, slow down enough to submit it properly. Rushing through a form can undo the work you put into your CV.
- Read the complete advert. Check qualifications, location, application instructions and any deadline before starting.
- Enter through the employer’s recruitment route. Confirm that the vacancy title matches the opportunity you intended to apply for.
- Create an account if required. Use an email address you control and keep your login details private.
- Complete the fields carefully. Check dates, qualification names, telephone numbers and spelling. Do not rely entirely on information imported from your CV.
- Upload the requested files. Preview them where possible and confirm that each document is attached to the correct field.
- Review and submit. Distinguish a saved draft from a completed application, then retain any confirmation or reference number provided.
If you are applying on mobile, allow enough time to locate files and review long forms. A laptop may make the process easier, but use whichever device lets you check the application accurately.
After submission, note the date and check the portal for the application status. A confirmation message means the system received your application; it is not an interview invitation or a job offer.
If you notice a mistake afterwards, use the portal’s editing option if one exists. Otherwise, follow the employer’s stated contact process. Avoid sending repeated duplicate applications in the hope that one will replace the others.
What to ask about pay for these job vacancies
When a vacancy does not disclose pay, it is reasonable to want clarification. Ask about compensation at an appropriate stage and distinguish a training allowance from a permanent employee’s salary.
Before accepting an offer, seek written details of the pay, employment arrangement, work location, hours, probation terms and any applicable benefits. Do not assume that training automatically leads to permanent employment unless the employer confirms it.
For a role that requires moving, estimate rent, transport, food and the cost of settling in. An attractive headline figure may feel different after those expenses. If a benefit matters to you, such as accommodation or transport support, ask whether it is actually included.
Think about development too. Useful supervision, clear responsibilities and opportunities to learn can matter greatly in a first role. Those considerations should sit alongside fair, workable financial terms, rather than replace them.
Taking the next step with these job vacancies
Start with eligibility, then availability. Read the relevant employer page, confirm that applications can still be submitted and prepare evidence that matches the stated requirements.
You do not need an impressive-sounding employment history to explain your potential. You need accurate qualifications, relevant examples and an application that makes your strengths easy to understand. Choose a vacancy you genuinely fit, submit it carefully and keep building your skills while you wait.
